Bio: I am originally from Bristol, CT and have completed all of my higher education through the University of Connecticut. In 2012, I first completed my undergraduate education at the Storrs, CT campus with a focus in Biology and minor in physiology & neurobiology. Following graduation, I had the opportunity to pursue ischemic stroke research at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT under the supervision of Dr. Louise McCullough. In the fall of 2013, I was granted acceptance to the University of Connecticut Medical School. Throughout my third year of medical school I was exposed to the clinical side of medicine and the art of balancing business and practice. It is my goal to utilize my MBA to gain more insight to the business practices of the healthcare field and apply these skills throughout my career as a physician. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2018 with a MD/MBA dual degree.
