9 additional credits. Real estate is a major investment vehicle as well as a vital resource in the economy. The real estate specialty supplements the Financial Analysis and Investments concentration with general principles necessary for effective real estate decision-making. Courses are taught by faculty from UConn’s nationally renowned Center for Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies. The program provides students the flexibility to focus on areas of individual interest.
9 Credits in any three courses from the following:
- FNCE 5532 Real Estate Investment and Portfolio Management
- FNCE 5533 Real Estate Capital Markets
- FNCE 5534 Real Estate Markets
- FNCE 5894 Real Estate Law
In addition, all students must pursue at least 3 credits of a 5000-level Management course.
