MBA Class of 2017, graduate assistant

I have been everything from a deck hand on an open-ocean, halibut charter boat in Alaska to a school teacher to a successful small business owner. The breadth, depth, and variety of my experience has engendered within me a universal empathy towards humanity and the formidable ability to adapt to all situations with skill and grace. After a significant hiatus from higher education, I returned to Albertus Magnus College, receiving my BS in business administration, graduating summa cum laude and class valedictorian, in May of 2015. I am currently a student and graduate assistant in the MBA program at the University of Connecticut, concentrating on business ethics, corporate compliance, and CSR. At the end of my MBA journey, I am looking forward to adding value to my organization and to the larger society which we all share. To this end, I am examining opportunities in the non-profit sector, those companies organzing as ‘benefit corporations’,  and organizations active in the development of diversity, compliance and CSR programs.
